"In the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience."
We have been planted in the good soil. Some people believe they cannot live in the good soil because they will constantly fall short of what God wants or for various other reasons. The bad news is we all fall short. The good news is that living in the good soil is a choice. We decide to wake up every morning and spend a little time preparing yourself for the day with God. It is just like nurturing a relationship with anyone. Just give Him a little bit of your time. This is how we enter into the good soil, by making certain choices. And then with the Holy Spirit in our lives, who improves our conscience we begin to want to do thing that please God. Even going to church becomes a joy!
We will always fall short sometimes. But God forgives and He wants us to bounce back and trust in His help to be stronger next time temptation comes around. When we are "watered" with the Bible and "fertilized" with the Holy Spirit we mainifest Godly fruit with patience. Patience is a sign of a God filled life!
Our human lives revolve around making decisions. Let us pray for the Spirit to help us make Godly choices!
Love from me!
